Darjeeling 'Margarets Hope' TGFOP

This classic Darjeeling tea plantation, is located in the Kurseong North Valley, established around 1865 under a different name.

The 1930’s garden owner lived in London, one holiday he decided to take his 2 daughters to visit the tea garden. The youngest daughter named Margaret, fell in love with it, hoping for an opportunity to return. She sadly fell ill during the return voyage to England and died. In her memory, her father changed the garden's name to Margaret's Hope.
