Iced Blueberry Matcha Magic

Matcha on your mind? You’re not the only one. Our latest iced creation is fruity, vibrant, and just the right mix of refreshing and energising.

This Iced Blueberry Matcha Latte is perfect for hot days when you want to feel fancy and fuelled. The best part? It’s easy to prep ahead and tweak to your taste!

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup water 
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • A splash of lemon juice


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Add all the ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil, then reduce to a low simmer for 10-15 minutes until it thickens slightly. 
  2. Pull it off the heat and let it cool completely.
  3. Strain out the berries (or skip this step if you like it chunky!) and store the syrup in a clean jar in the fridge. 

    Strained syrup will keep in the fridge for 2-3 weeks. If you decide to leave the pulp, you'll want to use it within a week as the pulp tends to spoil faster! 


MAKE YOUR MATCHA JUST LIKE THE PICTURE:

  1. Grab your favourite matcha, we recommend our Silk Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha (especially if you haven't tried it yet!)
  2. Follow our matcha base recipe here
  3. Add a tbsp of your blueberry syrup (or more to taste) to a tall glass
  4. Add your milk of choice
  5. Pour over your foamy matcha base 
  6. Mix it up!
  7. Enjoy 😋
